THE HISTORY OF REMNANT
The Cathedral of Remnant Worship Center International was launched on April 01st, 2014, but our story began many years before in that Brooklyn, NY living room. While hosting what was known as a simple bible study gathering, Bishop Courtney Bradley unknowingly was being trained to start a church that would bridge the gap between the community and the church. A place where the brand is love, lives would be changed and hearts that were disconnected from God realigned to His plan, will, and destiny for their lives. With souls in mind, Courtney Bradley accepted the call of pastor and was ordained as the overseer of Remnant Worship Center International on March 23rd, 2013 by the late Bishop Nathaniel Joseph Williams.
The Ships Conference: In 2013 Remnant hosted its first conference, ‘The Ships Conference: The Ships Are Coming In”, where people gather to hear about different types of relationships. Many people drown in the sea of life because of much abandonment and wreckage of these ships. When the enemy comes in like a flood, (that is the flooding of relationships, friendships, kinship, and so on) people tend to cry out for help verbally, non-verbally, outwardly, and or inwardly. This is not only a people’s cry but a global S.O.S. for salvation. But The Ships Are Coming In! God hears all cries and has preserved a ship that is bigger and better than all ships that man has ever built, even if the enemy has already placed a reservation to attack us. Jesus is that main ship that brings us back to fellowship with The One who has ownership of the sonship. Jesus is that ship that can walk on water. He is that ship that overrides our floods. Though the floods of life may sometimes cause wreckage of our ownership, God still graces us with assistance, and that’s by maintaining that relationship with him. Remnant Worship Center Annual Retreat: Every year, RWCI hosts an annual retreat with a theme that is relevant to the edification of the soul. Due to COVID-19, we were not able to go on a retreat in January 2021, but we resumed in January 2022.
